Stiefel Electrolyte Liquid is a supplementary feed designed to compensate for electrolyte losses. When a horse sweats excessively, for example due to high temperatures or intense exertion, it loses essential minerals. Stiefel Electrolyte Liquid contains many electrolytes (minerals) as well as glucose, helping to support rapid regeneration after high levels of exertion. Stiefel Electrolyte Liquid is suitable for sport horses, but also for foals and older horses. Tip: During intense performance or high temperatures, sufficient roughage should be provided, as fibre in the gut binds water and acts as a silent reservoir. Feeding recommendation: To compensate for electrolyte losses due to excessive sweating: Large horses (600 kg body weight): 50–100 ml daily, Ponies: 30–60 ml daily. Recommended feeding duration: 1–3 days. Fresh water should always be available. To stabilise water and electrolyte balance during and after digestive disorders (diarrhoea): Foals: 50–100 ml daily. Recommended feeding duration: 1–7 days (1–3 days if fed as the sole ration). It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before feeding. Shake well before use!
