Glucosamine and manganese, nutrition for the horse's joints. Glucosamine is a body-specific substance that, together with manganese, can be used for the construction of the various parts of the joint.
Why glucosamine?
In the joint, there is a constant breakdown and rebuilding of cartilage. It is the cartilage that surrounds the ends of the bone and allows the joint surfaces to slide friction-free against each other.
With increasing age and training, the cartilage of the joints wears down, which can lead to impaired movement. Glucosamine and manganese are needed to build up cartilage. Older horses have a lower production of glucosamine and the competing horse may have a greater intake than the body has time to produce.
Trikem's Glucosamine contains glucosamine, produced from shellfish, and manganese and is formulated in a tasty prebiotic yeast culture. This promotes good intestinal flora, is kind to the stomach and thus works for a higher absorption.

Glucosamine is suitable for the older horse with stiff joints as well as for the adult, exercising individual.
