JointReBuild contains the most important building blocks for the rehabilitation of joint problems.
• Glucosamine - participates in the regeneration of joint cartilage
• Chondroitin sulfate - enhances the action of glucosamine and helps reduce the breakdown of joint cartilage in case of injury or increased load
• MSM - participates in cell building, increases the cell's ability to exchange nutrients and waste products
The articular cartilage is constantly being broken down and built up. In order for reconstruction to take place, building blocks in the form of glucosamine, MSM and chondroitin sulfate are required - exactly what is included in Joint ReBuild.
The articular cartilage - why so important?
The ends of the bones that are in a joint are lined with what is called articular cartilage. The cartilage acts as the joint's shock absorber and distributes the load evenly in the joint. Healthy cartilage is a prerequisite for a healthy joint. The articular cartilage protects the ends of the bones and acts as a sliding surface that reduces friction.
With increasing age or extra high load, the body's own building blocks are not always enough to build up the cartilage. There is an imbalance between breakdown and build-up, which can lead to impaired movement or joint problems.
Which horses is Joint ReBuild suitable for?
For horses that have problems with the joints or the locomotor system. Can be given to both the older horses and the horses that are training actively.
