Never Give Up!
Finntack first saw the light of day when Mr. Gunnar was working for a major player in the harness racing industry that sold horseshoes. He was inspired to start his own business, producing and exporting racing equipment to Norway. There were many long, tough, and cold winter evenings, and it was during this time that Finntack’s motto was born: “Never give up!”. For 40 years, this has been the backbone of the brand, which has since become a global market leader.
The Beginning of Horze
Finntack is also the founder of the Horze brand. Mr. Gunnar recognized the opportunities in the new market that was flourishing on the internet, and in 2003 the riding brand Horze was launched with its own online store. Finntack was therefore one of the first in the equestrian industry to adopt this new form of commerce. Horze was later acquired by a German investor, creating new opportunities for Finntack to take both riding and racing concepts to new heights. This has allowed them to remain one of the leading suppliers on the market.
Ambassadors
Finntack works closely with several renowned ambassadors who use their products. Bjørn Goop, Team Bullern, and Pekka Korppi are among those well known for their success in harness racing. In addition, the brand is supported by a whole team of young, up-and-coming drivers and trainers.
